This simple question, asked to an ORC fan visiting us at the last International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte, was originally a kind of joke.
We could not expect at that time that this experimented sailor would not only take it seriously, but also take a pen and a piece of paper…
The result is just astonishing!
Surely some systems locations are approximate, some volumes wrong, yet the essentials are here: a true blue water catamaran, which will be the companion of an ambitious dual program: family holidays with kids, and exploration trips in remote areas with hostile climate.
Expectations that are totally matched by the ORC57.
This 5th hull will consequently be customized for her owner, fulfilling his needs.
A new story that we’ll be happy to document, step by step.
In the meantime, we will soon reveal the owner’s identity…and his name may ring a bell!
